MiTek in Florida is seeking a Production Operator to operate stamping presses and packaging equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards. You will report malfunctions, assist mechanics, and help maintain efficient operations on the production line.

The role requires ability to read prints, use hand tools and basic geometry, with a focus on accuracy, waste reduction, and timely documentation. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Up to 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Read and understand prints/schematics and use small hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Operate stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging.
• Meet/exceed daily production goals.
• Report machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Feed ribbon material into stamping dies and perform first piece inspection.
• Manually pack metal connectors and steel components.
• Minimize waste and mark steel lot numbers on shipping containers.
• Monitor coolant and oil levels and adjust as needed.
• Perform ongoing inspection to meet internal quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork during shift.
• Attend scheduled shift and work overtime as required.
