Job summary

ID Images is seeking a Press Operator for our Fairfield, OH facility. The role involves operating the flexographic printing press to produce label products that meet customer specifications, setting up the press, reading work orders, and prioritizing jobs based on deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for the shift, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following calibration and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Machining or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for shift.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned flexographic printing equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Set up press and run print jobs according to work orders.
• Read, understand and follow production work orders.
• Prioritize production orders based on dispatch deadlines.

The Press Operator operates assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product which meets the customer’s specifications.Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:30am-6pmNight Shift: Monday - Thursday 9pm-7:30amOperate press and run print jobs.Set up press to run print job.Read, understand and follow production work orders.Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.Produce label product which meets the quality standards.Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment.Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.Accurately report production numbers daily.Conduct quality checks of finished product.Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.Machining or related work experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.Mechanically inclined.Ability to learn and train.Attention to detail.Good basic math and measurement skills.DependableEOE#IDIMGS
