ID Images, the leading label solutions company, is seeking a Press Operator for our Brunswick, OH facility. You will operate Flexographic printing equipment, set up jobs, read work orders, and produce label products to quality standards on a tight schedule.

• Troubleshoot production issues using root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned flexographic press to produce label products per customer specs.
• Set up and calibrate press before run; monitor during production.
• Record production data daily and ensure quality checks are completed.
• Maintain equipment, identify materials and tooling, and report maintenance needs.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and comply with safety policies.

The Press Operator operates assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product which meets the customer’s specifications.A - Day Shift: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and every other Thursday, 5am-5:15pmB - Night Shift: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and every other Thursday, 5pm-5:15amC - Day Shift: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, 5am-5:15pmOperate press and run print jobs.Set up press to run print job.Read, understand and follow production work orders.Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.Produce label product which meets the quality standards.Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment.Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.Accurately report production numbers daily.Conduct quality checks of finished product.Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.EOE#IDIMGSMachining or related work experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.Mechanically inclined.Ability to learn and train.Attention to detail.Good basic math and measurement skills.DependableEOE
