Deluxe Corporation in Townsend, MA is seeking a press operator to operate and set up multi-color sheet fed or high-speed presses on a third shift.

You will perform complete press setups, load stock, adjust ink balance, register color, and meet job specifications. Basic math, reading and computer skills, plus lean principles familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years manufacturing/printing experience; familiar with Lean principles.
• Knowledge of printing process and in usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform setup/changeovers of multi-color sheet fed or high-speed presses.
• Load correct stock, set paper path and stretch, mount plates, mix PMS ink, die registration.
• Maintain ink and water balance, color matching, and ensure quality to meet customer expectations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.

Understands all press controls and demonstrates their use. Maintain s the ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns; demonstrate s the ability to make adjustments to the equip m ent including blanket changes, washing up units, cleaning water system and roller settings as required.Basic Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older2 years manufacturing/printing experiencePreferred Qualifications:Education: HS/GEDExperience: 2 years printing press experience; familiar with Lean principles. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan.
