Job summary

Uni-Form Components Corp in Houston, Texas, is seeking dependable Press Operators to support setup and operation of industrial presses and furnaces in our metal forming line.

You will read work orders and drawings, stage materials, operate forklifts and cranes, and maintain a safe, clean work area while meeting quality standards. Overtime flexibility is required and you may train Press Helpers as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Ability to read work orders and basic manufacturing drawings.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders, specifications, prints, and drawings.
• Stage and move materials for production.
• Measure materials and verify specifications throughout the process.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.

• Press Operators will also train and guide Press Helpers.
• Perform other duties as needed to support production.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Press, furnace, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements, work orders, and basic manufacturing drawings.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
