Job summary

Metalworks Inc. is seeking a Press Brake Forming Operator to prepare the workstation, set ups, and adjust programs to form parts per customer prints in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires operating hydraulic CNC press brakes, ensuring quality with minimal scrap, and lifting up to 35lbs on 10-hour shifts; first shift is 6:00 AM–4:30 PM with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• At least two years of previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Print reading experience is beneficial.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Set-up hydraulic CNC press brakes.
• Form parts to print and document progress.
• Maintain efficiency in high volume environment.
• Maintain minimum scrap levels (zero scrap preferred).
• Identify material defects throughout the runs.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repetitively for 10/hr shifts.

Summary: A Press Brake Forming Operator is responsible for preparing the workstation, set ups, and adjusting programs to ensure product is being formed to the specification callouts on customer prints in a safe and efficient manner.
