Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Press Brake Operator for our First shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing defect‑free parts on time and at the lowest possible cost, while minimizing environmental impact through waste reduction and exposure prevention. We are looking for a results‑driven individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Pay Range: $18.56 - $27.84 per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)
  • Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift
  • 1st Shift - Mon-Thurs. 6:00am - 4:30pm
  • 2nd Shift - Mon-Weds. 4:30pm - 5:00am (Employees work three 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours, compensated for a full 40‑hour workweek, 15% shift differential for 2nd shift)
  • 15% shift differential for 2nd shift
  • $2,500 sign‑on bonus for 1st shift welders and machine operators
  • $3,000 sign‑on bonus for 2nd shift welders and machine operators
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and execute a set of specified instructions (sequenced based control, work instructions, drawings, etc.)
  • Execute proper start‑up and shut‑down of machine.
  • Set‑up, load and operate brake or punch press to planned arrangements.
  • Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues.
  • Select (grinders, abrasives, etc.) and utilize a variety of metal finishing tools to meet specified surface requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of material lifting devices (cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, etc.).
  • Utilize a variety of material control devices (fixtures, templates, etc.).
  • Work responsibly and safely at all times.
Additional Job Functions
  • Perform additional activities of execution as required.
  • Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment.
  • Read and write in English for operational functions and preventative maintenance.

  • Previous forming experience preferred.
