Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Press Operator in West Chester, OH. You will run UV digital presses, set up production runs, process and RIP digital files, and perform quality inspections before release.

This is hands-on work with room to grow in a safety‑conscious manufacturing environment. You should have at least 6 months of die cutting or press operator experience, be able to lift 35 lbs, and be comfortable reading work orders and schedules.

Qualifications

• 6 months of die cutting or press operator experience.
• Able to lift 35 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience operating digital printing or production equipment.
• Knowledge of RIP software and digital print workflows.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with production reporting systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Strong color vision and quality inspection skills.
• Team-oriented mindset across departments and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, specifications, and special instructions to prepare materials for production.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain UV digital presses during production runs.
• Process and RIP digital files using print production software.
• Perform quality inspections on proofs and finished products before release to customers.
• Accurately record production results and maintenance activities using a PC or tablet.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maximize machine performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and reduce waste.
• Assist with housekeeping, material handling, and other duties as assigned.

• Assist with housekeeping, material handling, and other duties as assigned.
