Press Operator (2nd and 3rd Shifts)

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking an experienced full-time Press Operator to join our team at our Cherryville, NC location. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate primary equipment for molding processes.
2. Efficiently and safely operate equipment, making adjustments to ensure product quality.
3. Follow applicable procedures for this job classification.
4. Legibly record and maintain product/process information.
5. Use measuring equipment effectively to monitor control conditions.
6. Contribute actively to maintaining control conditions.
7. Communicate job-related information clearly to co-workers, supervisors, and other departments.
8. Maintain cooperative relationships across functional areas.
9. Ensure reliable and consistent attendance, which is essential for this role.
10. Assist in writing or revising procedures.
11. Participate in training and support the development of others.
12. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand procedures and process sheets.
• Basic math skills, including operations with decimals, fractions, percentages, and averages.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $17/hour to $21/hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This salary is part of a comprehensive benefits package.
