This position is for a 3rd Shift Press Operator at our facility in Charlotte, NC.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the printing press, color approval, and performance of preventive maintenance.
Ensuring paperwork and specs are accurate.
Responsible for operating press to ensure quality of finished product.
Inspect finished product for offset, drying, and winding in order to ensure proper skidding of product.
Responsible for complying with all cGMP’s, SOP’s, Safety, and Company policies
Responsible for working in tandem with Feeder Operator to provide directions for a successful production run.
Responsible for ensuring that the press crew have a full understanding of the daily production schedule.
Responsible for performing quality checks on cartons throughout the production process.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum three years of experience operating Man Roland equipment (or similar) required
Previous experience in pharmaceutical folding/carton environment preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of working in a quality driven environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Solid understanding of safety awareness, PS9000 Quality System, and the processing of high security product.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel)
Intermediate mathematics
Basic computer knowledge
Mechanical abilities
Detail-oriented
Multi-tasking abilities
