We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Permanent Press Operator. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our press machinery, ensuring optimal performance, and delivering high-quality products to our customers. This position requires a hands-on approach, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Press Operator, your primary responsibilities will include

• Operating and maintaining press machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Monitoring the press operations regularly, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Inspecting finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
• Performing routine maintenance on press machinery, including cleaning and lubricating components.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Keeping accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any machine downtime.
• Assisting in other areas of production as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Press Operator position, you must possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience as a Press Operator in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to operate and maintain press machinery efficiently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality in work.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in a related field is a plus.
