Press Operator / Set Up

Job details:

• Operate various production punch presses or other processing equipment to produce finished components according to provided work instructions. Inspect and monitor produced components to ensure quality documentation is met.
• Set up and operate all presses, including single-hit tooling and progressive dies.
• Use fabricated checking fixtures; responsible for inspecting random parts during production.
• Troubleshoot minor tooling issues or problems.
• Package parts according to customer requirements.
• May supervise subordinate lever operators.
• Identify opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.

Experience: At least 6 months in manufacturing or a similar environment.

Skills: Mechanical aptitude, proficiency with measuring devices (micrometers, Vernier calipers), attention to detail, and good time management.

Pay is BOE ($17-$18/hr).
