Job summary

Belmark in Phoenix, AZ seeks a press support/operator to ensure equipment and materials are ready at press. You will assist with press setup, operation and cleanup while maintaining the production area’s appearance and efficiency.

The role requires following safety procedures, reading instructions, meeting deadlines and may involve backup press work, ink mixing, plate mounting, and moving stock. Schedule is 2nd shift, 2:00pm–12:00am, Mon-Thu.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Requires education equivalent to two years of high school.
• Ability to meet deadlines and possibly work overtime.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay focused.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift as described.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and maintain food safety culture.
• Ensure proper equipment and materials are at press prior to setup.
• Assist with press setup, operation and cleanup as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the production area.
• May operate a press to back up the primary operator.
• May perform ink mixing, plate mounting and material handling.
• Dispose of waste ink and solvents per guidelines.
