Job summary

Belmark in Wisconsin is hiring a Production Support team member in the Pressure Sensitive division. This hybrid role combines Ink Technician and Plate Mounter duties, training you to mix inks, adjust color, mount plates, and file them to keep presses running. A pre-employment drug test and background check are required.

Shifts are 3rd shift, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. (Sunday 12:00 a.m.–6:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday). Overtime after 36 hours.

Qualifications

• Requires education equivalent to two years of high school.
• Ability to identify colors.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Physically able to stand/walk most of shift and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Mix ink to color standards.
• Deliver ink/varnish using Ink Queue System.
• Proof inks to DE target using hand proofer and color system.
• Adjust press colors to match standards.
• Mount plates accurately and timely.
• Ensure plates for jobs are mounted to keep presses running.
• Wash plates and maintain wash areas.
