Challenge Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO is seeking a skilled Press/Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair, and optimize production equipment. You will document downtime in Plex, troubleshoot electrical issues, and read mechanical prints to support maintenance tasks.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years in machine repair, and licenses for forklift and scissor lift. Expect a 5:00 AM–5:00 PM shift, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Minimum of 2 years of Machine Repair experience.
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience.
• Basic understanding of relevant Press controls and processes.
• Basic understanding of common tool room equipment such as milling machines, drill presses, lathes.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools.
• Document downtime codes in Plex.
• Electrical troubleshooting using a meter (level I certification).
• Read mechanical prints for troubleshooting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and suggest updates to schedules.
