Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corp in West Jefferson, OH, is hiring for production associates in the stamping department on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm). Starting wage is $19.15/hour with a $0.50/hour shift premium, plus opportunities for rate increases and bonuses.

You'll inspect metal parts, operate stamping press, forklift, and overhead crane, transfer inventory with an RDF scanner, and perform general housekeeping while supporting quality standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience, preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist throughout shift.
• Overtime as required to meet customer demands.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts of various sizes for defects to ensure quality standards met.
• Stack parts then place into stationary basket.
• Must be willing to operate Stamping Press.
• Must be willing to operate forklift.
• Must be willing to operate overhead crane.
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
