Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment and building systems. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and ensure safety, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems operate reliably.

Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience; Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of related experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards.
• Knowledge of safe practices in daily operations and maintenance of physical premises.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery; inspect and maintain safety, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs; service distribution systems and pneumatics.
