Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corporation in West Jefferson, OH is seeking a hands-on Fabricator in the Kaizen Department for 1st shift. You will support installation of new equipment, fabricate racks and stands, and ensure quality in daily production tasks.

The role requires experience with metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and safe shop practices. Competitive benefits and staged wage progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as millers, lathes, drills, grinders, and band saws.
• Reading and understanding blueprints.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and overtime.
• Must be a team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of new weld cells, press machines, laser cells, or other new production equipment.
• Fabrication of flow racks, part stands, driver check stands, guard rails, or any other needs of production, support, and maintenance groups.
• Verify structural integrity of fabrication items prior to installation and follow-up activity.
• Coordinate and manage outside contractors for Kaizen projects.
