Job summary

Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Press Machine Operators for projects in the Portland, TN area. This first shift role offers pay up to $28/hour, depending on experience and skill. You will read blueprints, interpret drawings, and program the Cincinnati press brake to meet bend specifications.

You will select tooling, input material data, run production, monitor quality, and troubleshoot issues, contributing to safe, productive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and work orders.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Understand bend dimensions, tolerances and angles.
• Determine the sequence of bends to form parts.
• Select and install tooling: punches and dies.
• Program the Cincinnati machine and enter bend angles.
• Input material type and thickness.
• Program backgauge positions and create/edit CNC programs.
• Perform test bends and check dimensions with calipers and tape measures.
• Run production while monitoring quality and troubleshooting.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Press Machine Operators for projects located in the Portland, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Read blueprints and work orders
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Understand bend dimensions, tolerances, and angles
• Determine the sequence of bends needed to make the part correctly
• Select and install tooling the press brake uses: punches dies
• Program the cincinnati machine using the cincinnati model enter bend angles
• Input material type and thickness
• Program backgauge positions
• Create or edit cnc programs
• Perform test bends
• Check dimensions using calipers and tape measures.
• Run production, and monitor quality
• Troubleshoot problems
