Job summary

Tradesmen International is looking for experienced Millwrights for projects around Charlotte, NC. This is a first shift role with pay in the $25-$30/hour range based on experience and skill level. Join a team that emphasizes safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship to advance your career.

As a Millwright, you will set up and operate press brakes, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while maintaining a safe work environment. Prior fabrication shop experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in the trade field.
  • Must own basic hand tools.
  • Must wear proper PPE.
  • Experience with press brakes is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
  • Produce parts to precise tolerances and quality standards.
  • Program press brake equipment and adjust settings as needed.
  • Calculate stretch outs and material requirements.
  • Perform bump forming and rolling operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Millwrights for projects located in or around Charlotte, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:



  • Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and fabricate metal components

  • Produce parts to precise tolerances and quality standards

  • Program press brake equipment and adjust settings as needed

  • Calculate stretch outs and material requirements

  • Perform bump forming and rolling operations

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment


Requirements:


  • Previous fabrication shop experience required

  • Strong experience setting up and operating press brakes

  • Experience programming press brake machines

  • Ability to calculate stretch outs

  • Experience with bump forming and rolling

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team


Requirements
