Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform setup, repair and preventive maintenance on press line equipment in our Chicago area facility. You will work from blueprints and schedules, run sample units, adjust equipment and assist operators as needed.

The role emphasizes measuring instruments, troubleshooting and maintaining quality, with a focus on safety and clean work areas. 2–3 years' experience is expected, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repair procedures and equipment operation (1–2 years apprenticeship or trades training).
• Ability to interpret complicated prints and use precision measurements (micrometers, calipers).
• Strong judgment and adherence to quality, PPE, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, repair and maintain press line equipment.
• Work from blueprints, manuals, schedules and instructions.
• Operate equipment and run sample units; adjust as needed.
• Instruct and assist operators; troubleshoot and repair as required.
• Maintain records and monitor quality of produced units.
