Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled maintenance specialist for our Chicago press operations. You will set up, repair and maintain press line equipment, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality during production.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following schedules, instructing operators, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced environment. The pay rate ranges from $29 to $42 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in maintenance of press line equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, schedules and instructions.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to exercise judgment in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Must comply with safety policies, PPE requirements and housekeeping rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up, repair and maintain press line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; diagnose problems and obtain parts.
• Operate equipment, run samples, check units and adjust as needed.
• Instruct and assist operators as necessary.
• Maintain records of maintenance and ensure quality standards.
