Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a production line mechanic responsible for maintenance, line care and repair of machinery to ensure quality production. You will perform preventive maintenance checks, troubleshoot equipment and follow safety procedures to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role, ability to read manuals and schematics, and proficiency with precision measuring devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read procedures, blueprints and schematics.
• Comfort using precision measuring devices and meters.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows all work instructions and safety policies, including PPE usage.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Repairs mechanical components and replaces parts on machines.
• Locates causes of problems by listening and observing equipment.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts and reassemble.
• Maintains lubrication, cleanliness, and housekeeping in plant areas.
• Completes work orders to improve safety and efficiency.
