Job summary

Process Technology in Mentor, OH is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to form precision sheet metal parts and support efficient production workflows. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, interpret blueprints, verify tolerances, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with air bending punches and dies as well as spring back forming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form sheet metal parts according to blueprints and process instructions.
• Monitor tooling, clamps, and material stock; adjust machine parameters to maintain part tolerances.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, sketches, and tolerance notes; measure parts with precision instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, inspect parts for quality, and document production data and deviations.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain a clean workstation, and communicate any issues to supervision.
