Job summary

MAS HVAC is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Dayton, MN. You will set up and run press brakes, read blueprints, and inspect parts to ensure quality.

The role requires attention to detail, math skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include selecting tooling, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement efforts while following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience operating press brakes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with CNC press brake controls is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Select and install tooling (dies, punches) for each job.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to achieve proper dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve processes.
• Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns.
