Job summary

General Stamping & Metalworks in South Bend, IN is hiring a Press Brake Operator to produce metal parts to customer prints using standard processes. You will read prints, set up tooling, and operate equipment safely to meet quality and delivery goals.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with calipers and gauges, recording data in the ERP, maintaining attendance, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. A high school diploma and 2 years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read prints and use inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce metal parts per customer prints using standard processes.
• Inspect parts with calipers and gauges per inspection plan.
• Record job data in the ERP system and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Maintain safety, attendance, and participate in continuous improvement.
