Job summary

K&S Manufacturing Ixonia, Wisconsin seeks a Press Brake Operator to join our team on 1st shift in a 100% air-conditioned facility. Read customer drawings, program and operate Bystronic or Accurpress brakes, inspect parts against blueprints using calipers and height gauges, and collaborate with engineering on prototyping.

Candidates should have at least 1 year press brake experience, strong problem solving, blueprint reading, shop math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year press brake experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong measurement and gauging skills with calipers, height stand, and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and set up press brakes for production.
• Program and operate Bystronic or Accurpress brakes.
• Inspect finished parts to blueprint tolerances.
• Support prototyping with engineering.
• Maintain production within tolerances and specs.
• Complete shop paperwork and 6S duties.
