The ideal candidate reads blueprints, has experience with press brakes, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts. Duties include reading drawings, installing tooling, measuring parts with calipers and gauges, and supporting safety and production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a brake press and reading blueprints.
• Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and tolerances accurately.
• Attention to detail to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Select and install appropriate tooling and dies.
• Measure completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and proper dimensions.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to resolve production or quality issues.
