Qualifications

  • Knowledge of press brake tooling, setup, and operation.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
  • Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, and calculations related to production tasks.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift. Forklift training and certification will be provided on-site.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic production or equipment issues.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to verify dimensions and ensure finished parts meet specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on press brake equipment to help maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process and inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Work with team members to meet production goals, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our client’s manufacturing and fabrication team in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating press brake equipment to accurately bend and form metal components according to drawings and specifications.

This is a direct hire role and this position requires candidate with strong attention to detail, the ability to use precision measuring instruments, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
