Jobot is seeking Press Brake Operators for first and second shifts in Bloomingdale, IL. You will set up and run press brake equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality parts are produced for critical applications.

Positions are available across experience levels with a $1,000 sign-on and a comprehensive benefits package. Shift options include 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Level I: Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Level II: Two or more years of related press brake experience.
• Level III: Four or more years of related press brake experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment based on experience level.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety documentation.
• Follow established bend sequences to form parts accurately.
• Inspect completed parts using calipers, squares, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify defective materials and report quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet established quality, attendance, and production standards.
• Perform basic shop math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

Press Brake Operator With Industry Leader (1st & 2nd shift)

Salary: $20 - $35 per hour

A industry leading advanced manufacturing company in Bloomingdale, IL is hiring Press Brake Operators across multiple experience levels. Candidates will be considered for Level I, II, or III based on their experience with press brake operation, machine setup, blueprint reading, tooling, and metal forming.

This is a first-shift opportunity supporting the production of precision sheet metal components and assemblies used in advanced technology and other critical industries.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (1st Shift)

Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am (2nd Shift)

Key Responsibilities for All Levels

• Set up and operate press brake equipment based on experience level
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety documentation
• Follow established bend sequences to form parts accurately
• Inspect completed parts using calipers, squares, and other measuring instruments
• Identify defective materials and report quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I: Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply
• Level II: Two or more years of related press brake experience
• Level III: Four or more years of related press brake experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Understanding of press brake tooling, including hemming and offset tooling
• Knowledge of die V-openings in relation to material thickness
• Understanding of when and how to use shims
• Ability to create or modify programs at the machine for Level II and III positions
• Previous experience training or mentoring operators is preferred for Level III
• High school diploma or equivalent
