Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Press Brake / Fabrication Technician in a growing Ohio shop. The role offers exposure to metal forming, assembly, hardware installation, and finishing processes within a collaborative team.

You will operate CNC press brakes, read drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have experience with complete machine setups, measurement tools, and a safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• Experience performing complete machine setups and operation of CNC press brakes.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Ability to hold close tolerances and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience making machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor process issues.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
• Manufacturing experience in a high‑mix production setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems is a plus.

Job Details

• Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 3:15pm - 1:45am
• Pay Range: $20 - $35 per hour depending on experience/skills

What You'll Do:

Press Brake & Fabrication Experience:

• Experience performing complete machine setups and operation of CNC press brakes

• Experience making machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor process issues

Additional Manufacturing Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand, pneumatic, and power tools
• Experience with assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing activities
• Ability to learn multiple production processes and equipment
• Experience with material handling equipment is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move throughout a production shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required
