Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator for the 1st shift. You will set up and operate the press brake, select tooling, and ensure parts meet prints and ISO quality standards. Daily tasks include machining, inspecting parts, and assisting with production efficiency.

The role requires precise measurement, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the Shop Manager to maintain on-time shipments and proper maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brake equipment with attention to safety.
• Ability to set up tools and dies and perform first article inspections.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and cosmetic specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and run CNC Press Brake in a safe, proficient manner.
• Select and set up tooling and dies for desired bends.
• Perform first article inspection and measure parts to prints.
• Maintain production logs and support on-time shipments.
• Assist QC with repairs and RMAs as needed.

Job description

Hours: 1st Shift: M-F, 6am-2:30pm

Basic Function: Operate, set up and run CNC Press Brake in a proficient and safe manner.

Major Duties: Set up, run and maintain CNC Press Brake. Utilize multi-stage bending systems. Accurately select and set-up tools and dies to bend metal from flat form.

Process is semi-repetitive utilizing machinery, tooling, and fixtures for set up, and requiring some minor troubleshooting and adjustment to complete assigned tasks.

Conduct first article inspection. Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with prints, maintaining ISO quality, and cosmetic specifications.

Complete work orders in a timely manner while properly using the production time logger to accurately capture labor costs.

Support Shop Manager in keeping shipments on time. Assist QC department with repairs and RMAs; when needed.

Perform daily and periodic maintenance on assigned machine. Report any mechanical problems or safety concerns to the Shop Manager.

Secure machine and ensure all safety features are engaged before leaving machine unattended.

Supervision Received: This position reports directly to the Shop Supervisor
