Job summary

ProMach is hiring a Press Assistant to support setup, operation, changeovers and maintenance of flexographic printing presses in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation. You will work alongside the Press Operator to keep production safe, efficient and with minimal waste, ensuring each job is set up for success.

Starting pay is $17.00/hour with a 6% shift premium ($18.02/hour) and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Day shift runs 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thu-Sat with every other Sun; no swing or rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience not required; training provided.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to differentiate colors and read a ruler to 1/32 inch.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production on schedule.
