Job summary

ProMach in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Press Assistant to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic presses. You will work with the Press Operator to keep production safe, efficient, and minimize waste.

No prior experience is required; we will train you. The role offers a day shift 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday to Saturday with every other Sunday, starting pay $17.00/hour plus a 6% shift premium ($18.02/hour) and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits and growth opportunities included.

Qualifications

• Prior experience not required, we will train you!
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Differentiate colors.
• Read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch.
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations
