Job summary

The Performance Group in Levittown, PA is hiring mail sorters for a 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will prepare outgoing metered mail, verify dates, postage and barcodes, and help keep production flowing.

We offer health insurance, paid vacations, weekly pay, and a temperature-regulated environment. Successful candidates are reliable, physically capable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, stoop and bend 80% of the time.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays with possible short notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing date, postage, and quality barcodes before production.
• Communicate errors and identify bad barcodes found in mail.
• Troubleshoot and clear jams from the mail sorting equipment.

Pay Rate:

• $17.25/hr
• Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage, and good quality barcodes prior to being placed into production.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine.

Mail Sorter Qualifications:

• The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance notice.
• The ability to be dependable and reliable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
