Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring a Presort Associate 1 at our Indianapolis, IN facility. The role includes preparing outbound mail with accurate postage and barcodes, spotting errors, and ensuring quality before dispatch.

The job requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and overtime may be required. The position offers direct hire, full-time employment with a $18.00 per hour base rate and an additional $1.00/hr on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date, postage and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate errors and bad barcodes found in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove jams from sorting equipment.
• Monitor mail/package quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels, bin numbers, and tray numbers for sorting.
• Follow Quality Management System procedures to ensure output quality.
