Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1 in our Arlington, TX facility. The role offers a base wage of $18.50 per hour, with an extra $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift, and comprehensive PB benefits. You will learn to review postage, correct barcodes, and ensure quality before dispatching mail/packages.

The team focuses on safe, efficient mail sorting, meeting SLAs, and supporting outbound/inbound processes while promoting a diverse, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Review date, postage, and barcodes before production.
• Communicate errors and fix bad barcodes on mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot jams and keep sorter running.
• Monitor quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and bin/tray mapping.
• Follow Quality Management System policies for output quality.
• Prepare mail according to USPS requirements for sorting.
• Ensure sorter equipment runs properly.
• Assist inbound/outbound processing of mail/packages.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departure.
• Meet SLAs for mail/packages.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as required.
