Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services is hiring for a Presort Associate 1 at our Arlington, TX facility. You will be trained to prepare outgoing mail, ensure proper postage and barcodes, and monitor quality while supporting inbound and outbound mail processing.

The role requires dependable team players with strong communication, organization, and safety awareness. Overtime and weekend work may be required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date, postage and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate errors and bad barcodes found in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from equipment.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and before dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels, zip codes, and tray/bin associations.
• Follow Quality Management System policies to ensure output quality.
• Ensure equipment and sorters run properly during shifts.
• Assist with inbound/outbound mail and package processing.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departure schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
