Job summary

BENCHMARK in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Bartender to join our team. You'll engage with guests, manage orders, and create memorable drink experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of bartender experience and a current certification. Responsibilities include maintaining bar setup, guiding guests through our beverage menu, and collaborating with staff to ensure excellent service. Competitive compensation is offered at $16.90 per hour.

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bartender to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
• Take accurate orders and confirm all special requests
• Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance conversation
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Assist guests with concerns, guiding them to a resolution that leaves them happy
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
• Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, and spirits
• Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practice portion control
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
• Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank

Compensation

$16.90 – $16.90

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
