Job summary

BENCHMARK is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Bartender to join our team in the United States. You will be responsible for greeting guests, maintaining the bar setup, and guiding them through our beverage offerings.

The ideal candidate should possess 2–4 years of experience, have a current bartender’s certification, and demonstrate a passion for exceptional guest experiences. Compensation is set at $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bartender to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
• Take accurate orders and confirm all special requests
• Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance conversation
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Assist guests with concerns, guiding them to a resolution that leaves them happy
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
• Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, and spirits
• Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practice portion control
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
• Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank

Compensation

$16.90 – $16.90

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
