Job summary

BENCHMARK is seeking a bar staff member to provide exceptional service at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California. Candidates should have an engaging personality, knowledge of drinks, and strong communication skills. This role includes greeting guests, maintaining the bar, and assisting the bartending staff.

The position offers an hourly wage of $16.90, comprehensive health insurance, and various retirement plans, along with paid time off and employee discounts on hotel stays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive in the bar area.
• Maintain proper daily bar set-up.
• Assist in securing requisitioned liquor, beer, and wine.

Job description

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa is a legendary AAA Four-Diamond property located in Riverside, California. It features 238 guest rooms and over 160,000 sq ft of meeting and event space.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
• Assist bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer and wine.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, including ensuring clean glasses are stocked.
• Understand the details of bar operation and oversee its daily functions.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist in maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.

Compensation

$16.90 – $16.90 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
