Western Resource Advocates seeks a dynamic President to lead its 2026–2030 strategic plan, aligning resources, talent, and political will to advance climate and ecosystem resilience in the Interior West.

The President will guide fundraising and program efforts, serving as the organization’s external ambassador and coordinating advocacy and policy work with partners to secure long-term sustainability and impact.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall vision, strategy, management, and leadership for a 80+ person team.
• Lead fundraising and program efforts to advance mission and secure sustainable funding.
• Act as chief external ambassador, coordinating advocacy and policy work with partners.
• Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships and coalitions across government, private, and philanthropic sectors.
• Oversee annual budget planning and resource alignment to support 2026–2030 strategic goals.
