MAAC is seeking a bold, grounded President & CEO to guide its regional nonprofit in San Diego County. This leader will report to the Board and oversee an executive team to advance housing, education, health, and economic opportunity.

The role requires deep community engagement, strategic vision, and a track record of leading complex, multi-site organizations with diverse funding streams. Based in California, frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant executive leadership experience in a large nonprofit or public-sector organization.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-site operations with diverse funding streams.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic leadership in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of MAAC's strategic vision and priorities.
• Engage with the Board to strengthen governance and accountability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, audits, and risk management.
• Serve as MAAC's chief spokesperson and advocate for economic mobility.
