Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of progressive accounting/finance work experience.
• Experience with Head Start and State Funded Pre-School Programs valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial stewardship for the Child Development Program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain the program budget, align resources with goals, and optimize processes.
• Produce internal and external financial reports for funding sources and agencies.
• Navigate state and federal monitoring protocols and audits with accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with HR and program teams for onboarding, grant reporting, and resource alignment.
• Present financial insights to MAAC Board and Policy Council for informed decisions.
