The City of New York's Housing Preservation & Development seeks a Scope and Intake Reviewer, Preservation Design Review Services, to join the BLDS team. You will work on preservation projects in the design phase, providing scope and intake services for multi-family housing rehabilitation and design review.

Qualificações

• Five years of full-time experience managing or inspecting construction projects with minimum total cost of $300,000 per year.
• One year of experience plus a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• One year of experience plus a professional license (PE/Architect) in engineering or architecture.
• High school diploma and two years of related experience to total five years.
• For Assignment to Level II, one additional year of satisfactory experience in Assignment Level I.
• For Assignment to Level III, two additional years of satisfactory experience and a NY driver license if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site inspections and prepare intake reports for preservation loan programs.
• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for preservation/maintenance programs.
• Review drawings and cost proposals for compliance with NYC Building Codes, Zoning, and accessibility standards.
• Supervise design, inspection, construction, demolition and permits as required.
• Engage in research related to architectural functions of the Agency.
