Job summary

Candidates must hold a Louisiana Professional Engineer license and meet experience requirements; only current permanent DOTD employees are eligible. SER compensation is $4,627.20 biweekly, with possible additional pay for extraordinary qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Louisiana Professional Engineering License and either three years licensed experience or seven years of professional engineering experience.
• Master's degree substitutes for one year of professional experience; doctorate substitutes for two years.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Districtwide highway preservation program, including scope, budget, design, delivery schedule, and performance.
• Leads integration of roadway design, drainage, and environmental considerations for timely delivery.
• Oversee preparation of construction plans for pavement preservation, contract maintenance, safety and related projects.
• Provide district-level leadership for drainage design, hydraulic analysis, storm water management, and permitting coordination.
