Zusammenfassung

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks a Preservation Program Engineer in District 61. This role serves as principal authority for preservation activities and reports to ADA Engineering. Internal applicants only for permanent classified DOTD employees.

Salary details include a Special Entrance Rate (SER) and potential for additional compensation based on qualifications. Louisiana PE license required; licensure reciprocity considered with Louisiana licensing

Qualifikationen

Licensed professional engineer in Louisiana or ability to obtain licensure.
ABET-accredited engineering degree required or recognized for licensure.
Advanced degrees may substitute for experience as noted.

Aufgaben

Administers the District Preservation program scope and budget.
Leads integration of roadway design, drainage, and environmental factors.
Oversees construction plans for pavement preservation and related projects at district level.
Provides district-wide leadership for drainage design and permitting coordination.
Manages consultant contracts for district preservation projects.
Oversees district surveying program with contracted firms.
