You will interact with customers, providers, insurers, and pharmacies, document issues, and escalate complex cases to pharmacists or supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and decision-making skills are required.
• Resident and Licensed Pharmacy Technician in listed states.
• Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license must be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from customers, healthcare providers, and pharmacies regarding prescription inquiries.
• Verify and validate prescription information ensuring accuracy per company protocols.
• Document customer concerns and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Provide guidance on prescription refills, adherence, drug interactions, and general medication information.
• Access and update customer records and prescription data using company systems.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals, insurers, and pharmacies to facilitate verification and processing.
• Escalate complex issues to pharmacists or supervisors as needed.
• Monitor call center metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Stay updated on regulations, medication trends, and new pharmaceutical products.
