Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher for our Westford, MA location. Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll support daily classroom operations, implement Cadence Education programs, and help create a safe, nurturing environment for children including those with IEPs.

You’ll greet families, support curriculum delivery, maintain routines, and collaborate with a team to ensure licensing compliance and high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in child care.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families and establish professional relationships.
• Respond to individual developmental, behavioral, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents.
• Help manage behaviors per Cadence policies and classroom expectations.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
