Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher in Weston, MA to support daily classroom operations under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment, implement Cadence Education programs, and help meet the developmental needs of children including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Previous experience in an early childhood or group care setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background Clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children are treated with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families daily and help establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents/incidents.
• Assist in managing child behaviors in line with Cadence policies and classroom expectations.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
